Carbon-Neutral Properties and Production Processes
By switching your property's heating system to geothermal energy as a service, your company can immediately benefit from cost savings and emission reductions—without any upfront investment. Additionally, the heating and cooling energy generated by processes can be produced in a carbon-neutral manner by utilizing a heat pump system.

Energy as a service - benefits for businesses
Buying as a service is a risk-free strategy to move towards your company's carbon neutrality goals. Geonova takes care of the whole process with a turnkey model: from the sizing and design of the heating solution, to its implementation and then, as the energy operator, the optimisation and maintenance of the system. The customer is left to pay the monthly fee, enjoy environmentally friendly and worry-free heating (and cooling) and focus on growing their own business.
The contract is valid until further notice or for an agreed period, after which your company can redeem the system.
Cost savings
- Quickly catch up on cost savings. In areas with expensive district heating, geothermal or other heat pump solutions as a service, your business will quickly see savings from the first year.
- Cost predictability. By buying energy as a service, you can budget your energy costs well into the future.
CO2 emission reductions of up to 100%
- Rapid emission reductions. Geothermal offers a fast way for a company to reduce emissions and move closer to carbon neutrality targets, especially if the electricity purchased is also produced in a zero-emission way. Emission savings can be as high as 70-100% compared to the baseline.
- Reporting. We provide our customers with a clear report showing the energy produced by the system, emissions and energy prices. The customer can integrate the report directly into their own sustainability report.
Energy self-sufficiency
- Significant reduction in the need for purchased energy. In addition, the overall solution can include, for example, a solar power plant, which means that part of the electricity needed by the site is produced emission-free from the site itself.
- Comfortable working conditions. At a small additional cost, a geothermal system can also be used for cooling. The ground heat improves working conditions, especially during the hot summer months, and thus increases efficiency and job satisfaction.
From investment costs to operating costs
- Buying as a service is worry-free and risk-free. Avoid a six-figure upfront investment and the risks that come with it.
- Invest in your business. Instead of a heating system, invest in your core business, which will deliver the best ROI.

Carbon-free energy for processes
The heating and cooling energy required by industrial processes can also be produced carbon-free by replacing fossil fuels (such as oil, natural gas or LPG) with an industrial electric boilers and heat pump system. Waste heat from the process can be recovered and recycled back into the process, for heating your own property or, for example, in an industrial area, to the regional grid.

"Previously, our geothermal project was put on hold due to the extremely high initial investment, which is equivalent to acquiring two production machines. However, when it comes to investments, machine acquisitions are always our number one priority."

Solutions in groundwater areas
If geothermal heat is not possible for a property, for example because of the groundwater area, we use other technological solutions, such as water-to-air heat pumps. Contact us!
Frequently asked questions
There are two types of contract, with Geonova being 100% responsible for the whole package, down to the electricity needed by the system. This option, for example, provides for reduced maintenance and management and some services can be purchased separately. Our sales team will be happy to explain the differences between the services in more detail.
In general, there is no need to shut down production during the installation of the system.
We make sure that the customer has a clear idea of what the monthly price they pay is.
The geothermal system is proactively monitored, serviced and maintained to prevent any major problems from occurring. Our network of partners includes only professionals and component manufacturers that meet our own quality standards, mainly from the domestic market.
