If a real estate investor acquires a geothermal system traditionally for its own balance sheet, the investment costs are usually around half a million euros and upwards, depending on the property. On top of this there are maintenance and servicing costs. If purchased as a service, all the above are included in the monthly price.

Many factors affect the accumulation of savings, such as the age of the property, its size, energy consumption and the current energy price. Savings usually start to accrue from the first months of the contract, but within 1-2 years at the latest.

If you buy geothermal heating as a service, Geonova will take care of the service and maintenance of the system, including the costs, as well as the energy production and its optimisation.

The suitability of the plot for geothermal heating will be determined at the outset. Even if it is not possible to drill a sufficient number of energy wells on the plot, it is possible to implement the system with a slightly different sizing and equipment solution.
